Gary Friedmanis co-founder and co-director of the Center for Understanding in Conflict and Center for Mediation in the Law, and practitioner with Mediation Law Offices in Mill Valley, California. He conducts training programs in mediation and mediative approaches to the practice of law in the United States, Europe and Israel. He recently co-authored Challenging Conflict: Mediation Through Understanding with Jack Himmelstein.

Her practice is limited to collaborative practice, mediation and private judging in family law. She is a mediation and collaborative practice trainer. She is the Past President of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire, current board member of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, and the co-author with Margaret Anderson of Collaborative Practice Materials.
